Great kit for getting started. Highly recommend. You can tell the grains have been well taken care of and lots of love has been put into the starter kit.

I've been culturing Kefir with these grains about 1 month. They have been very active. I was drinking kefir within about 4 days after starting, and it is now fully fermenting daily with the little grains multiplying like crazy. I put some in the freezer as was recommended for back up, and still have plenty to do the daily work as well as giving a few to friends! I've used in recipes instead of buttermilk with no noticeable taste difference.

So I’m still learning how to do this but the instructions were good, the kefir grains are super productive and it’s going well. In fact, I’ve frozen two sets of grains because they were so plentiful. I had to email and ask for help and Mountain Kefir responded quickly and helped me with my question. Great customer service and great kefir!
