After the initial start in a quart container I started using a pint container and then just adding a large wooden spoon of the Kefir grains and adding milk. I then put it in my yogurt maker at 78 degrees for 24 hours. The next day I repeat. It turns out thick tangy Kefir grains with a small amount of whey in the bottom. Except for my starter spoonful I consume the entire amount mixed with my 2 strains of fermented dairy (Dr Davis). I added some powdered fiber and chopped pineapple. This works for me. I am open to ideas on types of fiber to add.
I was able to start making my kefir very quickly. Everything is high quality andI’m very happy with my purchase.
