I received my pkg of kefir a few weeks ago. I followed the activation instructions and got to making the right consistency in 3-4 days. Every morning I strain the grains from the kefir, pouring the kefir in a glass container and then putting it in the refrigerator to drink later. I then rinse the grains while still in the strainer with cool water and then put them back into the glass bottle, adding whole organic milk. I started with 1/4 cup milk but am now up to 1 cup of milk. Very easy to do. Only takes about 5 mins every morning.

I had a delivery issue and the company was very quick to respond and send out a new package right away. Highly recommend Mountain Keifer!

Just what I had hoped for. Because the photo for the grain pack had a wooden spoon, I expected one to come with the grain...especially considering the cost. But I am happy with the kefir the grains produce and appreciate the helpful articles in their blogs.

It's been a few weeks now since I received my shipment. The grains took a few days to reactivate after their journey to my home,. They have been giving me lovely kefir ever since. We have even made kefir cheese in the last week!
