I chose to go with faster shipping since I ordered in the heat of the summer. Arrived as expected. The grains were ready to produce normally after only 2 rounds of the "activation" process advised in the instructions. It is very active, I thought it would take a while for the grains to grow enough to make 4 cups a day, it did not! It's only been a month and I had to remove a good bit of grains for my 1L kefir in 12hrs. We keep the house cool (not cold) during summer but the process will slow down a bit as we move into Fall.

The kefir grains I got from you are growing with leaps & bounds. At first they didn't do much bur after 2 weeks of changing the raw milk every 24 hrs they are happy growing grains. I love my kefir milk. I definitely recommend ordering your kefir grains. Thank you very much. Peggy

I received my kefir grains about 10 days after ordering, and I was worried that they might not work after being in transit for that long. It turns out that these kefir grains started working pretty much as soon as I put them in milk and have been going strong ever since! I use regular 1% milk, and the process could not be easier.
